Initial Consultation
What to Expect
Your initial consultation is an opportunity to talk through your family's situation, understand what you are navigating, and explore whether Anchor may be able to support you.
We may discuss:
Your Current Situation
What has changed, what you are currently managing, and where you are experiencing the greatest difficulty.
Caregiver Wellbeing
The emotional and psychological impact of caregiving, including stress, changing roles, relationships, loss of personal space and maintaining a sense of identity alongside care.
Family Dynamics
Communication, responsibilities, boundaries, decision-making and areas of tension within the family.
Finding the Right Support
Whether Anchor is appropriate for your circumstances and, where relevant, whether individual advisory support or the CLEAR Path™ Programme may be suitable.
Please note: Anchor Dementia Care provides non-clinical education and advisory support. It does not provide diagnosis, psychotherapy or medical care. If you or your family member requires clinical or medical assessment, I will recommend seeking support from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
